Shaman Wisdom #87

Tile in my Todos Santos kitchen

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 25, 2020

It was appropriate that I pulled the PRESENCE card. This moring I broke a habit. Instead of doing my reading first thing, I went to town and had a latte. Took the time to sit streetside and enjoy the pueblo town ambiance. Then I went to my nephews land and built another five feet long by one foot high rock and cement wall. I now have 30 feet x four feet of garden planter boxes, only because I show up and do it, with no need of reward. He’ll be surprised. Back home, I took a nap and sat in the sun and at four pm I did this reading. My computer is on my dining table next to the kitchen and this wonderful tile scene is above the stove. I’ve allowed this day to be – however it wants to be. Today I’ve made no COMPARISON with one thing or another. Yesterday the question “Who are you?” came up. The comparison card tells me that the way to find out who I am is not by comparing myself with others, but by looking to see whether I am fulfilling my own potential in the best way I know how. A few weeks ago I make one slate bonsai cactus planter. I now I have 26 finished. Before that I made 40 necklaces. I don’t know if I’ll ever sell any of these things. The FIVE OF FIRE reminds me to honor my creative expression, not to get into COMPARISON, to simply be PRESENT with my art. Who reads my blogs? Or my 12 books? No one. Maybe someday all my wild creations willl be seen as brilliant. Maybe not because like Osho says, ” it doesn’t matter – you are yourself. You are needed.”  I am incomparably unique.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: PRESENCE:

Delicate Groundedness to all levels of your environment. Clear minded ness. Being in the moment. Connection with the spiritual self.

REVERSED: Bringing the mind and emotions into the present. Awareness of thoughts and feelings as they surface without repressing or judging them.

Osho Zen Tarot: 5 of Clouds –  COMPARISON:

Comparison brings inferiority, superiority. When you don’t compare, all inferiority, all superiority, disappear. Then you are, you are simply there. A small bush or a big tree – it doesn’t matter – you are yourself. You are needed. A grass leaf is needed as much as the biggest star. Without the grass leaf God will be less than he is. The sound of the cuckoo is needed as much as any Buddha – the world will be less, will be less rich if this cuckoo disappears. Just look around. All is needed, and everything fits together. It is an organic unity – Nobody is higher and nobody is lower, nobody is superior, nobody inferior. Everybody is incomparably unique.”

“The way to find out who you are is not by comparing yourself with others, but by looking to see whether you are fulfilling you own potential in the best way you know how.”

The Good Tarot  FIVE OF FIRE:  Creative brainstorming; unity in diversity, honoring differences.

“I have the freedom to explore the ideas that seem most far-fetched. What seems crazy today proves tomorrow to be brilliant. Like a child willing to stretch her imagination when a new playmate comes into the garden, I open to new people and ideas, intrigued by what is novel and unfamiliar. This is a time for what is counterintuitive, for appreciating the ideas from far out in left field and what they might offer.”

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 24, 2020

I ran into my neighbor this morning. He was hungry to speak of the many things in his mind. Of course most of it was political. To me, it was obvious how “locked in” he was to his 3D Matrix feelings. He had no idea how to digest my admittance that I was a Spiritual Being – interested in a Deeper Knowing. What I was hearing from him, and I agree, was that the USA is in CHAOS, that is, the various elements are out of alignment. There seems to be a lack of any central organization or design on how to stop all this chaos, which he assigned blame to. Trump. His control of our nation seems to be be out of his control, or so my neighbor believes. I can observe his feelings and judgments and say all that “is not mine.” That US politics is not what I’m about. I’m all about RESOLUTION, that is, as a Way Shower, A Warrior of the Light, I’m here to bring wholeness and peace to an unstable situation with the aid of spiritual forces. With my inner work and prayer. It is important that I get out of my MIND regarding all of Chaos out there. Talking with my neighbor reminded me that someone was in a head trip, and he gave me the opportunity to check in to make sure it wasn’t me.

Later I listened to a Lorie Ladd video and she reminded me that everything is energy, like I wrote of yesterday. Energy moves constantly in 3D. Everything is always shifting. As Light Workers it is up to us to feel the energy as it passes thorough us and say “I am not that.” I am not the CHAOS of the USA. I am the RESOLUTION. She encourages us to do four things in the midst of this chaos. 1. Feel the emotions without identifying with them. There is fear and anger but it is not mine. 2. Recognize that I am experiencing it – this wave of anger or fear as it passes through me. 3. Know that “this too will pass.” We’re either velcro, which everything sticks to, or we’re not that. 4. Ask – “Who am I?” The other factor which comes into play is JUSTICE: Karma. The law of cause and effect is in play now as I see elements of my life balance out. What goes around comes around. Energy. I’m now seeing evidence of this law in the conditions of my world. The chaos coming around to balance out. In other words this energy passing though me sticks only because I created it in my MIND. I create fear, or hold on to the fear in my mind, and now I have a choice to be in fear, or observe fear. Observe this energy that is passing by. So the Who Am I? The next question may be “Am I fear?” Or “Am I Love.” I choose love.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: CHAOS: Elements out of alignment. Lack of any central organization or design. Randomness. Being out of control. Dissipation of the vital force.

REVERSED: Change marked by the dissipation of existing elements, or the integration of new elements. Transition with a potential for instability.

RESOLUTION: Creating peace and stability by developing new or manifesting dormant abilities, approaches or resources. Using inner resources.

REVERSED: Bringing wholeness and peace to an unstable situation with the aid of spiritual forces. Inner work, prayer.

Osho Zen Tarot: Page of Clouds – MIND

This is the situation in your head – I see cycle-handles and pedals and strange things that you have gathered from everywhere. Such a small head . . . and no space to live in! And that rubbish goes on moving in your head, your head goes on spinning and weaving – it keeps you occupied. Just think what kind of thoughts go on inside your mind. One day just sit, close your doors, and write down for half an hour whatsoever is passing in your mind, and you will understand what I mean and you will be surprised what goes on inside your mind. It remains in the background, it is constantly there, it surrounds you like a cloud. With this cloud you cannot know reality – you cannot attain to spiritual perception. This cloud has to be dropped. And it is just with your decision to drop it that it will disappear. You are clinging to it – the cloud is not interested in you, remember it.

“The Page of Clouds is telling you that somebody, somewhere, is stuck in a “head trip”.  Take a look and make sure it isn’t you.”

The Good Tarot  JUSTICE:   Karma.  “The law of cause and effect is in play now as I see elements of my life balance out. What goes around comes around. I’m now seeing evidence of this law in the conditions of my world.”

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 23, 2020

Humans are complex creatures. Inevitable, we are slaves to however we were programmed. As a life-long student of Self-Realization and a shaman, I’ve tried my upmost to hedge the bet on inevitability. To deprogram. To be less complex. Zen. The ironic puzzle revolves around taking on knowledge in order to let it go. So I’ve been a dedicated inquisitive thinker – a truth seeker. I’ve studied all the religions, political philosophies, psychologies, history, health and wellness factors – not looking to take a side, only to allow myself to feel that which resonates as truth. Science and statistics are good indicators, as long as they are accurate. I’m writing this because I keep drawing the Elements card HESITATION – Holding back, uncertainty. Not owning your power. And today I drew a second card CHRIST reversed – unwillingness to accept negative aspects in oneself. Followed by PROJECTIONS, that is – am I honestly and completely dropping the mind – telling my complete truth, or am I lost in projections, the inevitable game of delusion. Whew.

I want to share what I know, but if the other isn’t asking the question, wanting to hear what I have to say, it sounds like I’m talking down. This is not my intention, so I hesitate, and don’t share, don’t own my power in thoughts of possible rejection. I don’t like this about myself.

Wisdom can be a heavy cross to bear. It’s so easy to fall into ego, “I know this from years of study, and you don’t, because your answer is programmed.”  The proposal that I’m smart and you’re not, is a projection, a doubt of one’s, my intelligence.  A truly self assured man or woman would think or say, “I’m wise in my way, and you’re wise in your way.” And leave it at that. This reminds me to refrain from judgment, to allow others to think for themselves, to make their mistakes, have their corrections, and live their lives as they may.

Most fascinating in this reading is that I drew the SEVEN OF WATER with both the Osho Tarot and the Good Tarot. The first tells me to clean up my vision and the other says now is the time to tune in to the infinite possibilities that exist – and begin to play with them. Being lost in judgments and projections is always “in the way” of dreams. By letting go of what the other is doing, thinking or saying,  my power is unleashed for my dreams and creative imitations and boundaries give way to manifestation.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: HESITATION: Holding back, uncertainty. Not owning your power. Constriction in the power chakra.

CHRIST: Selfless service from a context of truth and dispassion. Forgiveness. Presence of Christ. Humility.

REVERSED: Unwillingness to accept negative aspects in oneself.

Osho Zen Tarot: 7 of Water – PROJECTIONS

The only way to reach to truth is to learn how to be immediate in your vision, how to drop the help of the mind. This agency of the mind is the problem, because mind can create only dreams. Through your excitement the dream starts looking like reality. If you are too excited then you are intoxicated, then you are not in your senses. Then whatsoever you see is just your projection. And there are as many worlds as there are minds, because every mind lives in his own world.

“All of us can get caught up in projecting movies of our own making onto the situations and people surrounding us. It happens when we are not fully aware of our own expectations, desires and judgments – instead of taking responsibility for them and owning them, we try to attribute them to others. A projection can be devilish or divine, disturbing or comforting, but it is a projection nonetheless – a cloud that prevents us from seeing reality as it is. The only way out is to recognize the game. When you find a judgment arising about another, turn it around – does what you see in others really belong to you? Is your vision clear, or clouded by what you want to see?”

The Good Tarot  SEVEN OF WATER – Imagination, fantasy, artistic endeavors, co-creative abilities unleashed.

“Now is the time to tune in to the infinite possibilities that exist and begin to play with them. Everything begins in the world of imagination, and I seize the opportunity to dream. I allow my intuition and desire to blend in an alchemical way, forming something new. Castles in the air can become castles on the ground when I release rigidity, bend the rules, and remain flexible and open. Limitations and boundaries give way to manifestation. Spirit never doubts the power of possibility, and neither will I!”

Shaman Wisdom #84

Celebration drawing by Dakan

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 22, 2020

Life is waves of energy. Frequencies. We began as this wave of energy thickening, first as an immortal thought, pure consciousness, a soul wishing to express again, slowing down, forming into sperm which finds an ovum, expanding as an embryo, a fetus, and then birthing as a live human. We, as grown humans, have the ability to remember that immortal thought, the soul’s wish to express again. Nurtured, each of us is able to perceive through psychic channels, to know the unknown, or unrecorded. To create our soul’s purpose, our passion. Life in general is a circus of distractions, disturbing our remembrance. With the card INNER GUIDANCE, which I rely on every day to write these blogs, I am reminded to not let that inner guidance be muddled with thoughts, mind and illusion. This is a time to remember who I really am, who you really are, to be in CELEBRATION of our very existence. We survived the whole process from pure consciousness to a living breathing human, with the ability to dance, to be available and open to the many opportunities we have to celebrate life, and to spread love by contagion. We can evolve our wave of immortal cosmic energy, to the frequency of love. The KING OF WATER reminds me, us, to honor and respect all beings, including our I AM, and see the commonalities we share, to embrace the Spirit that is in all of us. We, you and I, chose to go through the miraculous process I described. We won! We’re here. We are humans made up of pure consciousness, trying to remember how to express it, how to live in our glory, and not be muddled by the distractions of so-called failures, misfortunes and victim complaints. We’re here to Celebrate life. To live and love to the fullest.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: INNER VISION:

Attunement to the third eye. Inner revelation and vision. Ability to perceive through psychic channels. Third eye.

REVERSED: Muddling of inner guidance with thoughts. Perception tainted by mind or illusion.

Osho Zen Tarot:  3 of Water – CELEBRATION

Life is a moment to moment to celebrate, to enjoy. Make it fun, a celebration, and then you will enter the temple. The temple is not for the long-faced, it has never been for them. Look at life – do you see sadness anywhere? Have you ever seen a tree depressed? Have you seen a bird anxiety-ridden? Have you seen an animal neurotic? No, life is not like that, not at all. Only man has gone wrong somewhere, and he has gone wrong somewhere because he thinks himself to be very wise, very clever. Your cleverness is your disease. Don’t be too wise. Always remember to stop; don’t go to the extreme. A little foolishness and a little wisdom is good, and the right combination makes you a buddha.

“When you choose this card, it indicates that you are becoming more and more available and open to the many opportunities that are to celebrate life, and to spread this by contagion to others. Don’t bother about  scheduling a party on your calendar. Ley your hair down, take your shoes off, and start splashing in the puddles right now. The party is happening all around you every moment!”

The Good Tarot – KING OF WATER – Generous, diplomatic, fair, gentle, a good listener, nonjudgmental peacemaker, mediator.

“I honor and respect all beings, including myself, and see the commonalities we share and the Spirit that is in all of us. I listen to other voices and blend them with my own wisdom before settling on an opinion, making a decision or taking action. I gently and lovingly lead others away from fear and divisiveness and into harmonious collaboration.”

Rendering of Robert St.Clair in Two Crows novels by Dakan

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 21, 2020

This reading today opened a subject which I would rather avoid. A dear friend wrote and said I should find ways to get my wisdom out to the world. My response is that I don’t do social networking – Facebook. The reverse of CAUTION comes up – Being overly concerned with avoiding possible dangers. Unwillingness to risk. Followed by PARTICIPATION, saying that I have an opportunity to participate with others now to make my contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than I would manage alone. I could do that, if one of the others were the marketing person. I like the PAGE OF WATER, my being open to hear fully, allowing myself to feel childlike wonder and innocence. That doesn’t happen when I get serious about whether anyone is reading my blogs or not.  My world seems to work fine when I innocently do my art and write my stories. It all falls apart when I feel the pressure to market or sell what OI’ve created. Is this an unwillingness to risk, or an acknowledgment of who I rally am?

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: CAUTION:

Need for discernment. Aware ness and sensitivity to possible obstacles.

REVERSED: Excess of caution. Being overly concerned with avoiding possible dangers. Unwillingness to risk.

Osho Zen Tarot: 4 of Fire – PARTICIPATION

Philosophy is speculation, Zen is participation. Participate in the night leaving, participate in the evening coming, participate in the stars and participate in the clouds; make participation your lifestyle and the whole existence becomes such a joy, such an ecstasy. You could not have dreamed of a better universe.

“You have an opportunity to participate with others now to make your contribution to creating something greater and more beautiful than each of you could manage alone. Your participation will not only nourish you, but will also contribute something precious to the whole.”

The Good Tarot – PAGE OF WATER – Openheartedness, Innocence and curiosity, beginning of intimacy and relationships, playfulness ,cheerful optimism

“I open my hear fully, allowing myself to feel childlike wonder and innocence. All adventures lead me to where I need to go. Love awaits! Life is a delightful dance, and I am here to frolic and play. I am ready with a big smile, and I have on my dancing shoes.”

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 20, 2020

A year ago I was in an accident and suffered a brain injury. It was difficult to be around people, so I self-isolated, well before the pandemic. I had no Idea what was going to happen to my brain and future. I was flung into the UNKNOWN.  This is when I picked up my cards again and renewed my daily relationship with my Spirit Guides. I entered a new journey to the SOURCE. This is the 82nd day in a row of recording my readings. Each morning I have no idea how I’ll be guided – all I know is I’m living a Zen life, going with the flow of the cosmic stream. While connecting with Source, my Guides, not moving anywhere, I can feel the transformation of my energy into light and love, into realization, into compassion, into creativity. I know my Spirit Guides are cheering me on, always here, wherever I am. Like today, they guided my hands to pick the NINE OF WATER – reminding me It’s okay to say no to what isn’t right for me and to experience my wishes fulfilled in this perfect home in a quiet Mexican town, my sweet harvest that came about from seeds I planted in my life journey. I take pride in my hard work and achievement, writing these daily blogs, editing my wondefful novels and the art I create almost every day. I savor the satisfaction of a job well done. I’m glad  to pause in the UNKNOWN and acknowledge all I have co-created, With pleasure.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: THE UNKNOWN:

Beyond the scope of your awareness. Future occurrences. Hidden or purposely concealed. Faith.

REVERSED: Subconscious mind. Past lives.

Osho Zen Tarot: Ace of Fire – THE SOURCE

Zen asks you to come out of the head and go to the basic source. It is not that Zen is not aware of the uses of energy in the head, but if all the energy is used in the head, you will never become aware of your eternity. You will never know as an experience what it is to be one with the whole.  When the energy is just at the center, pulsating, when it is not moving anywhere, neither in the head nor in the heart, but it is at the very source from where the heart takes it, the head takes it, pulsating at the very source – that is the meaning of Zazen.

Zazen means just sitting at the very source, not moving anywhere, a tremendous force arises, a transformation of energy into light and love, into greater life, into compassion, into creativity. It can take many forms. But first you have to learn how to be at the source. Then the source will decide where your potential is. You can relax at the source, and it will take you to your very potential.

The Source is always waiting for you, and you don’t even have to step out of your house to find it.

The Good Tarot – NINE OF WATER – Dreams come true, wishes fulfilled, completion, enjoyment, contentment, achievement of desire.

“It is right to say no to what isn’t right for me, and now is my time to experience wishes fulfilled, and sweet harvest that came about from seeds I planted. I drink in the aroma of successful endeavor, take pride in my hard work and achievement, and savor the satisfaction of a job well done. I deserve to pause and acknowledge all I co-created, and I do it joyfully.

From “Zen Wisdom for the 21st Century” by Dakan

Zen is the study of the Unknown

Zen is knowing how important the unknown is

Zen is knowing this moment is a Zen Moment.

Zen is remembering to honor this most precious moment.

Zen is practicing how tto be still.

Zen suggests solving the puzzle of nothing is everything.

Zen suggests solving the puzzle of not knowing is knowing.

Zen is being aware of this moment.

Zen suggests that only this moment is real.

Zen is the awareness of all moments.

Zen is all about the “here and now.”

Zen is self-reflection in this here and now moment.

Noticing your breathing in and breathing out.

Zen is aware that your mind is drifting.

Zen is aware that this moment is all that really matters.

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 19, 2020

Today I chose the LOVE card. Love is one of my favorite subjects. I list the types of love below under Readings. I usually refer to Spiritual Love – the type of love which recognizes the Divine Light in everyone and everything, where love is given to everyone as an act of loving God. And Self-Love – the positive feeling that you have about who you are and what you deserve. It often is expressed by treating yourself well, respecting yourself, wanting yourself to be happy and expecting others to respect you too. Today I also drew the INTEGRATION card. I’m Content with what I have and who I am. I’m satisfied and grateful.  The CONSCIOUSNESS card says that I have no desire to keep trying to understand things from the sole perspective of the mind – that the understanding I have now is existential, whole, comes from my Spiritual and Self Love, and is in harmony with the pulse of life itself. I accept this great gift of Higher Consciousness, and share it freely in these blogs.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: INTEGRATION:

Consolidating experiences and revelations within the conscious mind. Bringing together and synthesizing all elements at work in your life.

REVERSED: Contentment with what you have and who you are. Satisfaction, thankfulness.

Osho Zen Tarot: Ace of Clouds – CONSCIOUSNESS:

We come from the unknown and we go on moving into the unknown. We will come again, we have been here thousands of times, and we will be here thousands of times. Your consciousness is something beyond body and mind, something beyond everything, that no-mind is eternal. It comes into expression and goes again into the unknown.

This movement from the unknown to the known, and from the known to the unknown, continues for eternity, unless somebody becomes enlightened. Then that is his last life, then this flower will not come back again. This flower that has become aware of itself need not come back to life because life is nothing but a school in which to learn. He has learned the lesson, he is now beyond delusions. He will move from the known for the first time not into the unknown, but into the unknowable.

When you choose this card, it means that there is a crystal clarity available right now, detached, rooted in the deep stillness that lies at the core of your being. There is no desire to understand from the perspective of the mind – the understanding you have now is existential, whole, in harmony with the pulse of life itself. Accept this great gift, and share it.

The Good Tarot – LOVE: Oneness.

In all of life, there is only the illusion of separation. In fact, we are all reflections of one another. When I make choices, I tend to see things as either/or.  What if every choice I make is about experience, a sharing and an exploring? When I choose to see the unity in all things, magic abounds. Love is all around me, Spirit loves me unconditionally, and I give and receive abundant love.”

LOVE

Love is defined as an intense feeling of deep affection, an emotion.

I love spinach lasagna and carrot cake. I love my two sons. I loved my goldfish. I fed them every morning. But would I hug a goldfish, or whisper sweet nothings in her tiny fish ears, take her to a movie, making love just wouldn’t work; would I have a funeral when she dies? My goldfish in a casket? Won’t happen. And yet, I still say, “I love you little fishy.”

This gal told me that she loves me. I love her, too. But when I wanted to prove it, she had an entirely different definition of what loving me meant. A Thai hooker to two told me she loved me. It was appropriate for the moment.

English clumps too many meanings into one word. The Greeks had four different meanings for love:

Agápe – refers to brotherly love, charity; the love of God for man and of man for God.

  • Éros – refers to love mostly as the sexual passion and intimate love.
  • Philia – refers to love as affectionate regard, friendship, usually between equals.
  • Storge – refers to love and affection, especially of parents and children.

So when I was thinking about my fish it was storge, and to that hooker it was eros, but she was thinking philia as to – I give you this and then you give me that.

In my relationship with most women it was, “I love you, but let’s get clear cowboy – it is not eros, it’s philia.”

Dr. Paulette Kouffman Sherman, the NY Love Examiner, lists 15 different types of love.

Her general conception of love has to do with a warm feeling based upon knowing and accepting someone. This relationship often involves mutual learning, caring and growth. Also, when you love someone you generally want them to be happy.

She asks, is love a concept, feeling or action?

Here are her 15 Different Kinds of Love:

1. Infatuation– loving feelings towards a love object that are largely based upon fantasy and idealization (instead of experience). Often when partners get to know each other, infatuation diminishes.

2. Romantic Love – An abiding love for a partner with whom you feel passion, attraction, caring and respect.

3. Eros – a passionate love usually involving sexual feelings for a love interest.

4. Companionate Love – feelings of warmth towards a friend with whom you love to spend time

5. Unconditional Love – A type of affection and caring that is so strong that you feel it consistently, regardless of what that other person does

6. Conditional Love – A love that requires specific action or conditions in order to be maintained. For example, at its extreme, a parent who gives very conditional love would only love his child when he gets straight A’s, becomes a surgeon and has two children. The love is based on outside conditions and when they do not occur, the love is withdrawn.

7. Puppy Love – A childish, innocent temporary crush on someone that you don’t know well.

8. Maternal Love – This term usually connotes love that is nurturing, accepting and protective. In actuality, this love can also be given by a father, etc.

9. Paternal Love – This term connotes love that involves guidance and some authority. Paternal love usually prepares a child to be ready for the outside world. Again, in reality this type of love is not gender specific.

10. Soul mate Love – This type of love is described as a love that has survived multiple life times. Not everyone believes in this concept.

11. Spiritual/Divine Love – This type of love recognizes the Divine light in everyone and everything. Love is given to everyone as an act of loving God.

12. Love of your country or patriotism – This is love for the place you live or the place that were born. It is a type of loyalty and a special feeling of belonging that you attribute to that specific geographic location.

13. Self-Love – This is a positive feeling that you have about who you are and what you deserve. It often is expressed by treating yourself well, respecting yourself, wanting yourself to be happy and expecting others to respect you too.

14. Brotherly Love – This term connotes having a feeling of love for your neighbor, because all humanity is considered to be part of a larger family of human beings.

15. Tough Love – This term is used to describe a love that is expressed by setting boundaries for the good of the other person. So for example, a parent may send their teenager to rehab if he is drug addicted, even if he does not want to go. They feel that this is an act of love because it stems from a desire for their son’s ultimate good and happiness.

Shaman Wisdom #80

The Good Tarot – Osho Zen Tarot – Elements Tarot reading for today

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 18, 2020

Today I drew the EXPANSION card. Interesting because I’ve been feeling a bit contracted. I’ve been doubting my ABUNDANCE. A friend reminded me to look under my doubts. Why would I entertain . . . “I am unworthy . . .  because no one loves me?. . . because I’m not lovable? . . .  because I’m alone? . . . because no one tells me who I am? . . . because I have no one to reflect with? . . . . because I’m afraid? . . . because I don’t even know if I exist or have a purpose for being here? . . . because I feel betrayed? . . . because God doesn’t exist?”  And then looking under each lie, here’s an answer – How can I be betrayed by something that does not exist? I MUST BE GOD. What’s under the unworthiness? How can I be unworthy when I’ve been given so much ABUNDANCE?  When I’m rich in my healthy body, rich in information; rich in meditation, rich in consciousness. How can I say nobody loves me when I love my Self? I’m an Earth Angel! A Way Shower! I could go out and meet people, or invite someone to live with me.  I choose to be alone. I have a mirror, in my bathroom, in my mind – to self-reflect with. Am I afraid of death? Almost every night in a lucid dream I go to another world, to another existence. I survive, to be in this one when I awake. Which one is real? If I die in this life will I simply transfer over to that one? At this very moment I feel that my purpose is to embrace this moment – be the creative God that I am – alive in my higher consciousness – bringing more space, happiness or ease into my life. I am simply riding the wave of life. The FOUR OF WATER reminds me to keep dreaming and being in introspection, contemplation, trusting in my continuing abundance. . . that this lull in “thinking I need action” offers me a chance to dream even bigger than before. Yes, my life is filled with expansion and abundance and I have faith in the perfect timing and divine order of All That Is.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: EXPANSION:

Higher consciousness. Any process that brings more space, happiness or ease into your life. Potential for rapid growth and attainment.

REVERSED: The returning of the fruits of your mind and actions. Also unfulfilled desire. Karma.

Osho Zen Tarot: King of Rainbows – ABUNDANCE:

In the East people have condemned the body, condemned matter, called matter ‘illusory’, Maya – it does not really exist – it only appears to exist- it is made of the same stuff as dreams are made of. They denied the world, and that is the reason for the East remaining poor, sick, in starvation. Half of humanity has been accepting the inner world but denying the outer world. The other half of humanity has been accepting the material world and denying the inner world. Both are half, and no man who is half can be contented.

You have to be whole: rich in the body, rich in science; rich in meditation, rich in consciousness. Only a whole person is a holy person. I want Zorba and Buddha to meet together. Zorba alone is hollow. His dance has not an eternal significance, it is momentary pleasure. Soon he will be tired of it. Unless you have inexhaustible sources, available to you from the cosmos itself – unless you become existential, you cannot become whole.

“The King of Rainbows sits atop the the book of the wisdom of life. This card represents a time of breaking through the conventional stereotypes and allowing the fullness of the whole human being to shine forth.”

The Good Tarot – FOUR OF WATER  Dreaming and introspection, contemplation, trusting in the abundance of opportunity.

“A lull in the actions offers me a chance to dream even bigger than before. Whenever plans turn out not to have come to fruition as expected, I feel secure knowing that even greater things may await me. The universe conspires on my behalf, and disappointment and sadness will wash through me if I simply let them flow. I trust that Spirit has many ways of responding to my desires, and what I seek can take a variety of forms. I have faith in perfect timing and divine order.”

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 17, 2020

My personal goal is to be AUTHENTIC. That isn’t an easy goal because the whole of one’s life is a continued indoctrination to be inauthentic. Sure, I try to reach my HEIGHT – to have all my actions directed by inner guidance, but like all of us, I carry my many programmed BURDENS. Lies. My personality is full of inauthentic behaviors. Instead of just being myself, totally loving who I am, who I’ve become, there’s always the thoughts of wanting more – living with the burden of not being satisfied. I should have my own home, my own car, my own savings account, my own gallery, my own lover. Believing there is a void is the burden, the lie. In truth I am whole and complete. The FIVE OF WATER reminds me that my burdens are lies and it’s time to surrender any resentments to the Divine, knowing all my so-called burdens can be transformed into miracles.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: HEIGHT:

Attainment. Wisdom. Success. Action directed by inner guidance.

REVERSED: Fear of failure. Aspiring for success while maintaining a limiting self image. Self doubt.

Osho Zen Tarot: 6 of Clouds – THE BURDEN:

A man’s true life is the way in which he puts off the lie imposed by others on him. Stripped naked, natural, he is what he is. This is a matter of being, not becoming. All aims and ends and ideals and goals and ideologies, religions and systems of improvement and betterment, are lies. Beware of them. Recognize the fact that, as you are, you are a lie. Manipulated, cultivated by others. Striving after truth is a distraction and a postponement. It is the lie’s way to hide. See the lie, look deep into the lie of your personality. Because to see the lie is to cease to lie. No longer to lie is to seek no more for any truth – there is no need. The moment the lie disappears, truth is there in all its beauty and radiance. I the seeing of the lie it disappears, and what is left is the truth.

The Good Tarot – FIVE OF WATER – Releasing grief, allowing sadness to arise and fall, forgiveness, the ebb and flow of emotion.

“I feel the fulness of my emotions as they wash through me. The ebb and flow are part of life, and I am present in my feelings today. I fully forgive myself and others and and let go of any emotions that were holding me back from acknowledging the truth. I deserve the freedom that come from when I release what is no longer working for me. I make amends to those I may have harmed when emotions was coloring my perceptions. I surrender any resentments to the divine, knowing they can be transformed into miracles. Fearless inventories lead to liberation.”

The Highway Shaman Wisdom Reading

for July 16, 2020

When I first pulled the Elements card early this morning it was HESITATION. I told myself I wasn’t ready for the reading. Two hours later I tried again and again pulled HESITATION. I felt I was being driven by obscure emotions to “do something.” I felt some sort of frustration that nothing was happening in my life. Drive somewhere. On the third shuffle I got CAUTION. By this time I had changed my plans and stayed home. I felt I was being told to hold back, stay put, to avoid an accident. Now it’s 3pm in the afternoon. I drew RECEPTIVITY which says it’s okay to be passive, to hesitate and wait to receive – that when I’m ready to receive, become yin, a new door will open. The NINE OF AIR reminds me that my frustration or fear is a lack of faith. My life is happening in Divine Order. I need only call on my Spirit Guides to remind me that I can and will do better as new possibilities begin to gather on my horizon.

THE READING

The Elements Tarot: CAUTION:

Need for discernment. Aware ness and sensitivity to possible obstacles.

REVERSED: Excess of caution. Being overly concerned with avoiding possible dangers. Unwillingness to risk.

Osho Zen Tarot: Queen of Water – RECEPTIVITY –

Listening is one of the basic secrets of entering into the temple of God. When you lister you become just a passage, a passivity, a receptivity, a womb – you become feminine. And to arrive one has to become feminine. You cannot reach God as aggressive invaders, conquerors. You can reach God only – or it will be better to say, God can reach you only when you are receptive, a feminine receptivity. When you become yin, a receptivity, the door is open. And you wait. Listening is the art for becoming passive.

The Queen of Water brings a time of unboundedness and gratitude for whatever life brings, without any expectations or demands. Neither duty or thought of merit or reward are important. Sensitivity, intuition and compassion are the qualities that shine forth now, dissolving all the obstacles that keep us separate from each other and from the whole.

The Good Tarot –  NINE OF AIR: Shifting negative self talk to self-compassion, from fear to possibility. A call to faith.

“With a gentle mellifluous voice, I tell myself that I will be okay, that I am okay, and that any fear is only false evidence appearing as real. I forgive myself for I know I am a human trying the best I can and need only call on Spirit to remember that I can and will do better as new possibilities begin to gather on my horizon.”
